Taking a Tantalizing Trip

What to know

Compared to some of the other cities in Israel, this one tends to be a little more modern. The center of the city is a great place to stay if you want to be near the shopping area. If you want to stay in the ancient part of the city, you should go to Jaffa. And the wealthiest section of the city is located in the Northern part of Tel Aviv.

What to do

One of the things that you should do is visit the neighborhood, Neve Tzedek. It was built in the sand dunes in the late 1800ís. Another thing that you should do is visit Yarkon Park, which features botanical gardens, a water park, and large lawns that are perfect for a picnic. This is an overall great place to go if you are looking for a relaxing day out in the sun. Before you go to the park, you can stop by the Carmel Market and get something to eat. Because it is the largest market in Tel Aviv, there will definitely be something for you to try.

When to go

Late June or early July are good times to visit because of the White Night Festival, which celebrates the cityís Cultural Heritage City. And if you are looking to save yourself some money, you should go between November to February.

When not to go

You might not want to go in August. Although the temperatures are hot and itís a popular tourist destination during this month, things tend to get a little crowded.

What to avoid

Avoid going to bed early while you are here! Because Tel Aviv is the city that never sleeps, there is definitely a lot of fun going on at night. You can try out one of the many night clubs or pubs and drink or dance the night away.

Culture shock

You might be surprised at how late the locals stay out at night. Tel aviv is also referred to as the ďcity that never stopsĒ.
