Get the excitement of Hollywood

Itís not exactly a secret that if you are thinking about Hollywood, California for your honeymoon that you probably arenít looking for a private getaway. If you want to be where it is at, you want to be in Tinseltown to begin your new life together. Considered to be the trendiest town in America, you will enjoy every minute of your time here, and wish you had more, no matter what attracts you to this glitzy city. Whether you are looking for museums, galleries, shopping, dining, or nightlife, Hollywood has the most world famous centers for all of these things.

When to Go

If celebrity spotting is on your agenda, you will not want to visit during the Christmas holidays when it is a ghost town. The temperatures are near tropical, and so it is rare to see temperatures dip below the 70ís even in the winter. The summer months through October is the best time to go for some because the beach life is active and the summer experiences less rain.

What to Do

As mentioned, there is something for everybody in Hollywood, and your honeymoon will be delicious every second that you are in Tinseltown. Take a stroll by the beach after your breakfast, and then tour the Hollywood Entertainment Museum or the Hollywood History Museum. If you want to get closer to the cameras, the historical theatres of the Chinese Theaters or the Kodak Theater where the Oscar Ceremonies are held every year are fun places to visit. Continue your trek to Rodeo Drive for some fun window shopping, top off your afternoon with a nap on the beach and finish the day at some of Hollywoodís world famous restaurants such as Spago a hot spot for celeb spotting or Beso, owned by Eva Longoria.

What Not to Do

Donít come to Hollywood expecting a lot of studio tours, as many of them have moved outside the Hollywood area. They are easy enough to find through a quick trip to Burbank where you can visit Universal and NBC among many others.
